More about project

This time, the KRASSKY team undertook the task of furnishing a 170 square meter apartment in River Breeze Residence in Klīversala – a unique locale enveloped by the waters of the capital on three sides, offering a captivating view of Old Riga's red roofs and towers.

Beginning with an empty apartment, the designers set out to craft a cozy and inviting living space. Drawing inspiration from the client's overseas property, characterized by minimalist, masculine aesthetics and rustic materials such as walnut, textured natural stone, leather, and brass, they opted for earthy tones reminiscent of Latvian landscapes—shades of grey, black, beige, sand yellow, greenish hues, and off-white. Thanks to the wide glass planes of the facade of the building, the presence of light is one of the most important characteristics of this apartment, which allows you to play with rougher, more expressive materials and textures, without creating a heavy overall image of the rooms.

In the bedroom, a luminous palette is punctuated by contrasting darker accents in accessories and textiles. Art Deco-inspired accent lamps with brass and glass detailing from the esteemed British brand Bert Frank adorn not only the bedroom but also the living and dining areas.

The focal point of the apartment resides in the living room — a wood-burning fireplace by the esteemed Italian manufacturer, finished in natural stone by Artesia and walnut veneer, serving as a recurring motif throughout the interior. Anchoring the sitting area is the sinuous Standard modular sofa from the renowned Italian brand Edra, distinguished by its innovative "Smart Cushion" technology, offering unparalleled comfort. The sofa's adaptable backrests and armrests cater to individual preferences, elevating the comfort quotient to new heights.

The kitchen's backbone is formed by two reputable manufacturers. Valcucine, an Italian brand renowned for its ergonomic designs, provides a kitchen system characterized by hygienic glass surfaces and a dove-gray frosted glass facade, complemented by La Cornue, a French manufacturer, supplying stainless steel oven and hood units that seamlessly integrate into the modern kitchen aesthetic, promising a tactile, restaurant-grade culinary experience.

The apartment's realization was executed as a turn-key project, encompassing a comprehensive range of interior services — from conceptualization and design to procurement, delivery, and installation of furnishings, as well as electrical modifications tailored to the client's preferences. Additionally, KRASSKY specialists oversaw carpentry design and implementation, ensuring meticulous attention to detail at every stage.
